Serving more than 35,000 students across Mansfield and parts of Grand Prairie, Arlington, Burleson, and surrounding communities, Mansfield ISD is a significant regional employer and community leader. Over the past five years, the district has demonstrated a continuous commitment to managing energy use and improving efficiency, by leveraging over $80,000 in TXU Greenback rebate dollars towards LED lighting upgrades representing an annual savings of 925,000 kWh.

Most recently, TXU Greenback rebates are helping offset the cost of LED light pole installations at the Mansfield ISD Center for Performing Arts and the Ben Barber Innovation Academy. These upgrades are projected to deliver annual electricity savings of more than 350,000 kWh, a measurable outcome that supports safer, better-lit campus environments while reducing energy consumption and costs.
