Energy Solutions
From energy-efficiency rebates to demand management programs, we provide the tools and expertise that give energy managers greater control and strategic advantage across ERCOT, PJM, and MISO markets.
Energy-Efficiency
Energy Audits
Vistra works with energy auditors to help business customers assess facility energy use and create an action plan. Audits can range from a basic walk-through to more detailed evaluations with diagnostic testing and data tracking. Depending on available programs, audits may be completed at reduced or even no cost.
Energy-Efficiency Rebates
Dynegy and TXU Energy Greenbacks are rebate dollars that help businesses fund new energy-efficiency projects or offset the cost of existing projects. Offered at no additional cost to the commodity agreement and in addition to utility rebates customers may already receive, Greenbacks can support sustainability goals, long-term energy savings, and a range of eligible upgrades.
Unlock Savings with Greenback Rebates
TDU Rebate Support
Vistra can help customers identify energy efficiency opportunities that may align with available utility rebate programs. Through energy audits and project evaluation support, customers can gain the information needed to assess potential upgrades, projected savings, and return on investment while pursuing broader energy management goals.
Energy-Efficiency Projects
Common Greenback-supported project types include LED lighting, HVAC upgrades, system controls, solar panels, EV charging stations, energy audits, and other facility and equipment upgrades.
Demand Response
Generate revenue while supporting grid reliability through strategic load management. Vistra’s demand response programs compensate C&I customers for reducing electricity consumption during peak demand periods across the MISO, ERCOT and PJM markets. Whether you have flexible operations, backup generation, or building management systems, our energy advisors identify the right program fit and maximize participation value without disrupting critical operations.
Peak Notifications
Stay ahead of market events with proactive notifications tailored to your operations. Our alert systems provide advance notice of forecasted peak pricing events, grid conditions, and market developments that could impact costs or demand response opportunities. Customize alerts by facility location, time of day, and threshold levels to receive only relevant information. These timely notifications enable informed decisions about load curtailment or operational adjustments.
Additionally, our Coincident Peak (CP) service gives you advance notice to reduce usage when demand peaks on the MISO, ERCOT or PJM system. This is a free service for our customers. You can join at any time and participate in any CP event when you want. Vistra Retail customers can learn more in the link(s) below.
Electrification
Commercial and industrial fleet operators are increasingly planning the transition to electric vehicles as economics improve and federal and state incentives become available. Vistra supports customers from strategy through execution, helping them plan, secure funding, select partners, and deploy charging infrastructure—enabling a smooth transition for fleets ranging from light‑duty vehicles to school buses and heavy‑duty trucks.
